About This Product.

Transparent Labs Grass Fed Whey Isolate in Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookie is a whey protein isolate powder sourced from grass-fed dairy. Whey isolate is a highly filtered form of whey protein, meaning the majority of fat and lactose is removed during processing — leaving a lean, protein-dense powder that mixes cleanly into water or milk.

This is a straightforward choice for anyone looking to meet daily protein targets without unnecessary additives. It suits athletes and active individuals who train regularly and want a reliable post-workout option, but it works just as well as a between-meal protein source for those who struggle to hit targets through food alone. The Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookie flavour makes it palatable enough to use consistently, which is often the deciding factor with protein powders.

Grass-fed whey as a category tends to come from dairy herds raised on pasture rather than grain-heavy feed, though the specific sourcing details for this SKU should be confirmed on the packaging. Transparent Labs is a brand that publishes its formulations openly, which is why it has earned a place in performance-focused ranges. If you are tracking macros carefully or managing lactose sensitivity, the isolate format — rather than a concentrate — is typically the more appropriate choice.

How to Take It

i.

Mix one scoop with water or milk and consume after training or between meals to top up daily protein intake. Using it with milk will add calories and a creamier texture; water keeps it lighter and lower in calories. Check the packaging for the exact scoop weight and serving guidance.

Frequently Asked.

What is the difference between whey isolate and whey concentrate?

Whey isolate undergoes additional filtration to remove most of the fat and lactose found in concentrate. The result is a higher proportion of protein per gram of powder and a format that is generally better tolerated by people with mild lactose sensitivity.

Is this suitable if I am lactose intolerant?

Whey isolate contains very low levels of lactose due to the filtration process, and many people with mild lactose intolerance tolerate it well. If your sensitivity is severe, speak to a clinician before use and check the label for the manufacturer's specific lactose declaration.

When is the best time to take this?

Protein powder is most commonly used post-workout to support muscle repair, but it can be taken at any point in the day where your diet falls short of your protein target. Timing matters less than overall daily intake for most people.

Can I bake or cook with this powder?

Whey isolate can be incorporated into recipes such as oats or protein balls, though heat may slightly alter the texture. It is primarily formulated for mixing as a shake, so results in cooking will vary.

How does this compare to a plant-based protein powder?

Whey isolate provides a complete amino acid profile and is rapidly absorbed, making it a well-studied choice for muscle protein synthesis. Plant-based proteins can also be complete when blended, but may differ in digestibility and texture. The right choice depends on your dietary preferences and tolerance.

Best tasting protein I've had in years

Honestly wasn't expecting much from an oatmeal cookie flavour but this is genuinely lovely. Mixes well with just water and doesn't leave that chalky aftertaste I get with cheaper isolates. Using it post-run and it sits comfortably — no bloating, which has been an issue for me with concentrate-based powders. Will be reordering.

Finally a protein powder I actually look forward to

I've tried so many and most are either too sweet or weirdly artificial. This one tastes like a biscuit in the best possible way. I mix it with oat milk post-gym and it's become a proper little ritual. Happy with the macros too — no junk fillers as far as I can tell.

Solid choice for clean protein

Switched to this from a mainstream concentrate after a friend kept going on about grass-fed whey. Noticed my stomach's a lot happier — I'm mildly lactose intolerant and concentrates were a nightmare. This is fine. Flavour's good without being overwhelming.

Really good but the bag seal is fiddly

The protein itself is great — mixes cleanly, tastes like a proper oatmeal cookie, and I've noticed I'm recovering a bit better since adding it in around my evening workouts. Only gripe is the resealable zip on the bag is really stiff and I've already had it not close properly twice. Minor thing but at this price point a better seal would be appreciated.

Does exactly what it promises. No fuss, no weird aftertaste. Good flavour — not too sweet. Would buy again.

Stacks well with my current routine

I use this alongside creatine and a greens blend in the morning, and it fits in seamlessly. The oatmeal cookie flavour is genuinely nice — I mix it with cold water and it still tastes decent, which not all protein powders manage. Transparent Labs publishes everything openly which is why I trust it over some of the mystery-formula brands.
