About This Product.

Everything else in the boutique helps you improve something. The Oura Ring helps you see it. Worn overnight, it turns sleep, heart-rate variability and body temperature into a single daily readiness score, so you know when to push and when to rest instead of guessing.

The fourth generation moves to a fully titanium build with recessed sensors and smarter signal routing, tracking sleep stages, resting heart rate and recovery with an accuracy that has made Oura a fixture in clinical research, all from a discreet band rather than another screen on your wrist.

Its real advantage is that people keep it on. The ring is comfortable enough to forget, and that unbroken record is what makes the data genuinely useful rather than a novelty you abandon after a fortnight.

It is the measurement layer for a considered routine: take the magnesium, keep the wind-down, and watch the numbers move in response. This is the silver finish.

Best wearable I've owned

Had a Whoop band for two years before switching to this. The ring form factor is so much better — I forget I'm wearing it most of the time. Sleep data is detailed and the Readiness score genuinely shifts how I approach training days. On days it flags low readiness I've started doing just a walk or yoga instead of a hard session, and recovery has improved noticeably.

Quietly excellent

I bought this after my GP mentioned tracking HRV during a particularly stressful period at work. Three months in and the trends are really illuminating — I can see exactly when my body is struggling even before I consciously feel it. The silver looks lovely and doesn't draw attention.

Does exactly what it says. Sleep tracking is far more detailed than my Apple Watch ever was.

Excellent tracker, but the subscription adds up

The hardware is genuinely impressive — lightweight, accurate, and the battery lasts several days easily. My gripe is the ongoing monthly membership fee on top of the £349 price tag. It feels steep when the ring itself is already a significant investment. The data quality is great though, and I've found the sleep staging particularly accurate compared to my previous tracker.

Converted a sceptic

I thought smart rings were a gimmick until my sports physio recommended this. Three months in and I genuinely use the readiness score to decide whether to push or pull back on training. It's changed how I periodise my week more than any coaching advice has.

Bought this after a friend kept talking about her readiness scores. Now I understand the obsession. The temperature tracking during my cycle has been surprisingly useful — I can see luteal phase dips clearly in the data.
