Promix Nutrition Protein Puff Bars in Snickerdoodle are a whey protein-based snack bar with a light, crispy texture — closer to a puffed cereal bar than a dense, chewy protein block. The Snickerdoodle flavour is built around cinnamon, giving it a warm, biscuit-like character without the heaviness of most protein bars.
Whey protein is a complete protein, supplying all essential amino acids and is well studied for supporting muscle protein synthesis when consumed around training or as part of a protein-adequate diet. For people who struggle to hit daily protein targets through whole food alone — athletes in training blocks, those managing body composition, or simply busy individuals who skip meals — a bar that sits light on the stomach has a practical advantage over calorie-dense alternatives.
These suit anyone who finds conventional protein bars too dense or too sweet. The puffed format is notably different from standard compressed bars, which tend to rely on syrups and binders to hold their shape. That distinction matters if texture puts you off most bars on the market.
Promix Nutrition has built a following for relatively clean formulations with a short ingredient deck. The cinnamon and whey combination here keeps things simple. As with any whey product, those with a dairy intolerance or allergy should check the full ingredient label before purchasing.
Whey Protein, Cinnamon

Enjoy as a snack between meals or around training. Check the packaging for the specific protein and calorie content per bar to fit it into your daily intake.
No. Whey protein is derived from cow's milk, so this bar is not suitable for those with a dairy allergy. Anyone with lactose intolerance should also check the full ingredient label on the packaging before consuming.
Most protein bars use a compressed, chewy format held together with syrups or gelatine binders. Puffed bars have a lighter, crispier structure — more akin to a puffed grain snack — which many people find easier to eat and less filling.
Whey protein is absorbed relatively quickly, making it a reasonable choice around training or as a between-meal snack to help meet daily protein targets. There is no strict timing requirement — consistency with total daily intake matters more than the specific moment.
Check the packaging for the exact protein content per bar, as we do not wish to quote a figure that may differ from the current formulation on shelf.
Whey protein is derived from milk and is acceptable for lacto-vegetarians, but it is not suitable for vegans. Check the full label to confirm no other animal-derived ingredients are present in the current formulation.

I've tried so many protein bars over the years and most end up tasting like sweetened chalk. These are genuinely different — the texture is light and crispy, almost like a cereal bar, and the cinnamon flavour is warm without being overpowering. I keep a couple in my gym bag for after training and they don't weigh me down at all.

Bought these on a whim after seeing them recommended in a nutrition group. The cinnamon biscuit flavour is really well done — it actually tastes like a snickerdoodle rather than a vague 'cinnamon' protein bar. Light texture too, which I prefer. Will be reordering.

Really enjoy these — the flavour is genuinely good and the puffed texture makes them feel less like medicine than most protein bars. My only gripe is the pack only comes with a handful of bars for the price. At £45.99 you're paying a premium per bar. Still buying again though.

Swapped from a well-known brand I'd been using for ages and honestly these are far better. Much lighter on the stomach, and the cinnamon flavour doesn't taste artificial. My new go-to mid-morning snack.

I was sceptical about the puffed format but it works really well. These don't have that heavy, syrupy quality most bars have. The ingredient list is short which I appreciate. Been using them during a training block ahead of a half marathon and they sit well before or after a run.

Honestly didn't expect to like these as much as I do. The snickerdoodle flavour is exactly what it promises — warm, slightly sweet, cinnamon-forward. Much better than anything else I've tried in this category. Recommended by a friend and I've now recommended them to three others.
