Finally found something that actually works on newborn skin

My little one had dry, flaky patches on her cheeks from about three weeks old. Tried a couple of well-known baby creams and nothing really shifted it. Started using this and within a few days her skin looked noticeably calmer. I love that the ingredient list is so short — I don't feel like I'm slathering anything mysterious on her. Bought this after my midwife mentioned tallow-based balms as an option for sensitive baby skin. Really glad I did. This has been really good on my son's cradle cap edges and chapped cheeks during the cold months. A little goes a long way, but the jar is quite small for the price — I got through it faster than expected with two areas to cover daily. The formulation itself is spot on, no complaints there. Just feels like the value would be better with a larger size option.

I was sceptical about switching from the standard white nappy cream I've used since my first child, but a friend raved about tallow balms so I gave it a go. Really pleased — my daughter's skin barrier seems much happier, and I like knowing exactly what's going in the formulation. It has a very mild, slightly earthy scent that I've come to associate with it working, if that makes sense. My husband was dubious at first but he's the one who uses it most now.
