Nordic Naturals started with a frustration. Most of the fish oil on the shelf was stale, weak, or already spoiled by the time it reached the bottle. The founders came from a Norwegian family and wanted an omega-3 that lived up to the cod liver oil they grew up on. Three decades later it is the line most clinicians name first.

The real work happens before anything is bottled. Every batch is checked by an outside lab for purity, potency and freshness, and the results are published. The oils sit well below the international limits for oxidation, the number that tells you whether an omega-3 has already turned. They also taste clean, with none of the fishy repeat that makes people give up after a week.
