At The Wellness you can see a private GP in London the same day, at our London clinics, including Marylebone and Belgravia, open from 7am to 9pm every day. By video it is usually within the hour. A same day appointment is £220, or included in membership from £6,950 a year.
In England, 44% of appointments in general practice in 2025 took place on the same day they were booked, according to NHS Digital. For the rest, the wait is days or weeks.
Our clinics see people the same day. Our London clinics include Marylebone, at 10 Portman Square, and Belgravia, at 9 Eccleston Street, and they are open from 7am to 9pm every day, including weekends. A same day appointment in clinic is £220 without a membership.
By phone or video, a doctor usually speaks to you within the hour, from anywhere in the world. A telephone consultation is £59 and a video consultation £150 without a membership.
Many problems are settled on that call. A prescription, a sick note, a referral, or the reassurance that it can wait. Where you need to be seen, the doctor books you into a clinic the same day.
A doctor comes to your home, hotel or office in London, usually within the hour in the centre. A house call is £400 without a membership. Signature includes two a year and Platinum six.
The doctor brings what is needed for the visit, can take blood in the room, and leaves the notes in your record the same day.
Overnight, members message wai, which answers straight away, reaches your doctor and your concierge in one message, and has a doctor call you back when it cannot wait until morning.
Membership is not an emergency service. For chest pain, difficulty breathing, signs of a stroke or a serious injury, call 999.
Without a membership, you are seen the same day and pay for each appointment. With one, the same day is included and the doctor who sees you is the one who knows you.
Signature is £6,950 a year paid upfront, or £610 a month for twelve months, and includes up to 12 same-day appointments in clinic and 36 by phone or video a year. The University of Oxford counted 100 million consultations and found the average person in England has 5.16 a year, so the limit is well above what most people use.
Platinum, at £17,450 a year, adds a named physician, a personal concierge who books everything for you, and 24 appointments in clinic and 72 by phone or video.
Bring a list of your medicines and anything you have been told by another doctor. If you are a member, your record is already open when you arrive, and your doctor has read it.
If you are visiting London, you do not need to be registered with a doctor in this country. Bring your passport and the name of any medicine you take in the country you live in, and we will find the equivalent here.
A same day appointment in clinic is a full consultation with a GP, long enough to take a history, examine you and decide what happens next. Blood can be taken in the room.
If you need a prescription, it is written there and then. If you need a sick note or a letter, you leave with it. If you need a specialist, a liaison offers a first appointment within 48 hours when it is urgent and five working days when it is routine, for £295 a case, or included in membership.
Go to an emergency department or call 999 for chest pain, difficulty breathing, signs of a stroke such as a drooping face or a weak arm, heavy bleeding, a serious injury or a sudden severe headache. A GP appointment is the wrong place for these, however quickly it is available.
For anything else that worries you, a same day appointment, a call or a video consultation is usually the fastest way to the right answer.
If you are unsure which it is, call us. A doctor will tell you where to go and how quickly.
Speed matters most the first time. After that, continuity matters more, because the doctor who saw you last knows what was tried and what the results showed. Ask for the same doctor by name when you book. As a member, your own doctor is the one who sees you.
Your doctor keeps the notes of every appointment in one record, with your results, your letters and your medicines beside them. When you come back, whether in a week or a year, nothing has to be explained twice, and the plan picks up where it stopped.
