Discretion

No family office is named on this site and none ever will be. Records are held under the family’s own reference rather than a name where the office asks for that, and the physician signs the office’s own confidentiality terms before the first meeting.

What an office asks

You meet two and choose one. Both are on the clinicians page with their training and registration, and the office may ask for a woman or a man and for a language, on the form below.

Hospital care, surgery and anything a specialist charges for are billed to the family at what they cost us plus twenty per cent, with the invoice attached. We do not mark up a consultant and call it coordination.

For a planned trip, yes, at a day rate agreed before the diary is set. For an unplanned one we work by telephone and video, and we find a doctor where the principal is rather than send one from London.

We arrange it, we send the record, and the physician sits in on the consultation. Where the second opinion disagrees with ours, that goes in the record in the consultant’s own words.

We have one clinic, in Marylebone, and no beds of our own. Emergency care is the NHS or a private emergency department, and we tell the office which one before it is needed rather than after.
