By video or in person?

Most appointments here happen by video. It is a full appointment with the same consultant, against the same criteria, producing the same plan or report, and it is what most people choose.

In person appointments are held in Harley Street and cost more. A consultation is £895 by video and £1,050 in person. An ADHD assessment is £1,250 by video and £1,500 in person. The higher fee buys the room, and the blood pressure, pulse and weight measured in it, which matter once medication is being considered.

If you choose video and treatment is agreed, you can bring recent readings or come in once to have them taken. The switch above the fees books either one.

What happens at your appointment

Choose an appointment and a time, or message us and we will say which one fits. If another service would suit you better, we will tell you.

You can describe what is going on in your own words instead. Message the clinic and a clinician reads it.

Reports and letters

The report is included in the assessment fee. If you need a further report, the consultant who saw you prepares and signs it.

  • Reports for work and studyDocumentation for adjustments, occupational health and universities, written to be acted on by someone who is not a clinician.
  • Second opinion reportsA considered specialist view on a diagnosis or a treatment plan you already have, where you want certainty before you continue.
  • Medico-legal and court reportsIndependent assessments prepared to the standards solicitors, employers and the courts expect.
  • Capacity, fitness and pre-treatment lettersA clear documented opinion for the decisions that require one.

Medication and therapy

If medication is the right step, your consultant starts it and adjusts the dose, checking your response and any side effects along the way. Your blood pressure, pulse and weight are needed too. These are measured in the room at an in person appointment, and for video appointments you can bring recent readings or have them taken at one in person visit. Reviewing what you have already tried, at what dose and for how long, is part of the first appointment.

If talking therapy is the right step, a psychologist in the same team provides it and works from the same record. Your consultant will tell you whether medication, therapy or both is likely to help you.

If several treatments have not worked, advanced options are available at accredited specialist centres, and we arrange access after a suitability assessment. There is no cure for these conditions. Treatment makes them easier to live with, and your consultant will tell you what it can and cannot do for you before you decide.

If you already have a diagnosis and want a second opinion, tell us about it. Message the clinic and a clinician reads it.

Frequently Asked Questions

Most appointments here are by video. A full hour with a consultant psychiatrist is £895 by video and £1,050 in person in Harley Street, and includes a written plan. An adult ADHD assessment is £1,250 by video and £1,500 in person. An autism assessment is £1,750, and both assessments together are £2,400. Follow-ups are £450 for 30 minutes and £650 for 45.

Most people are offered a first appointment within the same week. After you book we match you to a consultant whose practice fits what you have described, by video or in person in Harley Street. If nothing suitable is free that week we say so before you pay rather than after.

Ninety minutes with a consultant psychiatrist, a structured diagnostic assessment against current criteria, a developmental history, and validated rating scales. You get a written report within 5 working days that is suitable for work or study, a first prescription where treatment is agreed and clinically right, and a letter to your GP if you would like us to write. It is £1,250 by video and £1,500 in person in Harley Street.

Often, under a shared care agreement. We write to your GP with the diagnosis, the reasoning, the dose and the monitoring it needs, and ask them to take over routine prescribing. Your GP is not obliged to agree, and some practices decline. If yours declines we continue prescribing ourselves at £75 a prescription, and we tell you what your practice does before you commit.

Most assessments here are done by video and a video assessment is a full assessment, with the same 90 minutes, the same consultant and the same report. What video cannot do is measure your blood pressure, pulse and weight, which matter once medication is being considered. An in person assessment in Harley Street is £1,500 and takes them in the room. If you choose video you can bring recent readings instead.

Yes, and it is included in the assessment fee rather than charged separately. The report sets out the diagnosis, the evidence behind it, and the adjustments that follow, written to be acted on by someone who is not a clinician. We also prepare second opinion, capacity and medico-legal reports to the standards solicitors and courts expect.

Your consultant reviews what was tried, at what dose, for how long, and what stopped it. A medicine that was abandoned at a starting dose was never given a fair test. Where several have genuinely failed, advanced treatments exist at accredited specialist centres and we coordinate access after a suitability assessment. There is no cure for any of these conditions and we do not claim one.
