IV therapy

IV therapy in London,
with a clinical
assessment first

Supervised by a doctor, in sessions of 45 to 90 minutes. We start with your symptoms, history and options, and ask whether an infusion is justified at all.

A clinical reason,
before an infusion.

A drip does not depend on the gut to absorb what it carries. That is how the treatment is given, not proof of better energy or recovery than food or a tablet.

A 2023 review found no high-quality evidence of benefit from high-dose vitamin infusions without a specific deficiency or medical condition. Read the review. So a doctor starts with you, and asks whether an infusion is justified at all.

How it works

A clinical review of your history, medication and the reason for treatment, including risks and alternatives.

Your whole health
in one place.

With your care extends beyond your appointments.

Every infusion, blood result and clinical note is kept in your record, and read against the ones before it.

Ask a question at any hour and the answer comes with your history in front of it. When something needs a doctor, it books one.

Questions,
answered.

IV therapy at The Wellness costs from £395 for Hydration Plus. The Myer’s Cocktail, the most chosen, is £495, NAD+ Therapy is £600 for 500 mg and Apex Performance is £1,275. An iron infusion is from £950, with the consultation and the follow-up check included.

A drip puts fluid and nutrients straight into the bloodstream, so it does not depend on the gut to absorb them. For people who are well and eating normally, the evidence that vitamin drips improve how they feel is limited, and a small placebo-controlled pilot of the Myers’ Cocktail in 34 adults with fibromyalgia found no statistically significant between-group differences (Ali and colleagues, Journal of Alternative and Complementary Medicine, 2009). That study does not establish benefit for healthy clients. Intravenous iron is different, and the British Society of Gastroenterology recommends considering it when iron tablets are unsuitable, have not worked or are not tolerated (Gut, 2021). A doctor can tell you which applies to you.

An infusion carries risks. Safety depends on the ingredients, dose, infusion rate and your health. Discuss medication, allergies, kidney or heart problems and the reason for treatment before proceeding. Doctor supervision does not remove the possibility of adverse effects. The Merck Manual review describes fluid overload, electrolyte-related problems and allergic reactions with high-dose vitamin infusions. Every infusion here is overseen by a GMC-registered doctor and given by a trained nurse, with pharmaceutical-grade ingredients and sterile technique.

Most drips take 45 to 60 minutes. NAD+ and Apex Performance run longer, around 60 to 90 minutes, due to the slower infusion rate required. You can relax in a comfortable treatment room during the session.

There is no established routine weekly or monthly schedule for general-wellness vitamin drips. A 2023 Drug and Therapeutics Bulletin review found no high-quality evidence of health benefit without a specific deficiency or medical condition. Any repeat treatment needs a clinical reason and a review of the response, rather than a package chosen by habit.

NAD+ is a molecule involved in cellular metabolism. That role does not establish that an infusion improves energy, focus or healthy ageing. A 2026 systematic review found no eligible outcomes trials of intravenous or intramuscular NAD+ itself for anti-ageing or wellness indications. Clinical effectiveness remains uncertain. Discuss alternatives, risks and what the proposed treatment is intended to change.

Ask the team for current appointment availability and whether a consultation or results are needed before an infusion can be arranged. Do not assume a same-day appointment or a walk-in treatment is available.

Possible adverse effects depend on the ingredients, doses and infusion rate. High-dose vitamin infusions can cause fluid overload, electrolyte-related heart rhythm problems, low blood pressure or an allergic reaction. Medicines may interact with infused nutrients. The Merck Manual describes these risks; they should not be presented as minimal or limited to bruising. Ask what symptoms need urgent help and how to contact the treating team.

Kidney or heart disease, pregnancy or breastfeeding, allergies and some medicines can make high-dose vitamin infusions inappropriate. Tell the clinician about these before treatment. A general-wellness drip should not replace an assessment of unexplained fatigue or another new symptom. Suitability is an individual clinical decision.

Discuss your history, symptoms, medication and relevant results with a clinician before an infusion. Ask whether a deficiency or medical condition justifies treatment, whether oral care is a reasonable alternative, and what risks or follow-up are involved. More ingredients or a higher price do not establish more benefit.

Yes. At The Wellness an iron infusion starts with a consultation at no charge and a blood-test review, ferritin and full blood count, and you do not need a GP referral. If your results confirm iron deficiency, the infusion is prescribed and given by a doctor.

Iron IV at The Wellness is from £950, with your consultation and follow-up check included. The infusion is prescribed after a blood-test review and given by a doctor, with a doctor present for the entire infusion.

Most patients need one infusion to restore iron stores. Severe deficiency can call for two, decided on your blood results. Your levels are rechecked afterwards, so the outcome is measured rather than assumed.

Energy typically improves over two to four weeks as iron stores rebuild. Your ferritin and full blood count are rechecked after treatment to confirm the response.

Request a session in a few minutes. Choose a formula or tell us what you want to understand, and a doctor will confirm whether an infusion is right for you.
