Accessibility statement

Covering this website, last reviewed on 8 September 2026, and measured against the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines at level AA.

How accessible this site is

This statement covers thewellnesslondon.com. The site is partially compliant with WCAG 2.2 AA, and partially compliant means most of it meets the standard and the parts that do not are listed below.

The Wellness is not a public sector body, so the Public Sector Bodies Accessibility Regulations 2018 do not apply to us. We publish to their shape anyway, because a buyer who has to check a supplier against them should be able to do it in one visit.

What is not accessible

The booking calendar on the business pages is supplied by a third party and we do not control its code, so its keyboard order and its labelling are not ours to fix. Anyone who cannot use it can book by telephone on 020 3951 3429 and the appointment is the same appointment.

Some documents sent to patients as PDFs are not tagged for a screen reader. Ask for any of them as plain text or large print and we will send it in that form within one working day.

Older marketing pages carry images whose alternative text describes the picture rather than its purpose, and a small number of headings skip a level. Both are being corrected page by page as each page is next edited.

How this was tested

By us, not by an independent auditor. Every new surface is measured in a real browser at 390 and 1280 pixels wide by the render harnesses in this repository, which check contrast, target size, horizontal overflow and reduced motion. The main journeys are then walked by keyboard and by screen reader.

No independent accessibility audit has been carried out. Commissioning one is on the list in the Trust Centre with the month against it, and this statement will be replaced by the audit findings when it is done.

Asking for something in another format

Write to team@thewellnesslondon.com or call 020 3951 3429 and say what you need and in what form. Large print, plain text, audio and a longer appointment are all available at no charge.

Reporting a problem

Write to team@thewellnesslondon.com with the page and what happened. We reply within 5 working days and we say what we are going to do about it.

If you are not happy with the reply, the Equality Advisory and Support Service takes complaints about accessibility under the Equality Act 2010.
