The Wellness
The rules every page on this site is written to, so a reader or an answer engine can check us against them.
Clinical pages are written by our doctors or by our clinical team working from a doctor’s notes. Service and price pages are written by the people who run the service and read against the catalogue that runs the checkout, so the price on the page is the price you pay.
Where a page was drafted with software, a named person at The Wellness has read every sentence before it is published and is answerable for it.
A page that gives clinical information carries the name of the GMC registered doctor who reviewed it. Where a page carries no named reviewer, it is published by The Wellness as an organisation and says so, and it makes no clinical claim that would need one.
A clinician profile is written from that clinician’s own record and read by them before it goes live. It names where they trained and never where they currently work for anyone else.
Every article carries the date it was published. A page that has been read end to end by a person since carries a last reviewed date as well, and that date is moved by hand on the day the review happens. It is never stamped by the build, because a date that moves on its own is a false signal.
A statistic sits beside its source, in the text, on the same page. If we cannot point to the source, the number does not go on the page. Outcomes are claimed only where we can show the measurement, and we do not publish results from other people’s programmes as if they were ours.
The prices on this site are read from the same catalogue that runs the checkout. A price on a page that disagrees with the price at checkout is a defect and we fix it that day.
We publish no testimonial that a patient did not say to us, and none at all until we have their words. No client logo goes up before a contract is signed, no placeholder stands in for a real organisation, and no percentage improvement is claimed that we have not measured ourselves.
We name what we cannot do as plainly as what we can. One clinic in Marylebone, video across the UK, in person in London.
If something on this site is wrong, write to team@thewellnesslondon.com with the page and the line. We check it, we fix it, and where the error was material we leave a note on the page saying what changed and when.
Nothing on this site is a substitute for a consultation. Health information here is general. A diagnosis, a prescription and a plan come from a doctor who has assessed you, and every page that gives health information says where to find one.
