What each clinic does well

Get A Drip has the widest London network we found, with eleven sites. It requires a medical consultation, at no charge, before any drip, and it prints the dose of each ingredient on the drip page.

Effect Doctors is doctor led and registered with the CQC. It prices its whole menu on one page and sends a clinician to homes and hotels across London.

HUM2N prices NAD+ by dose and sells a three visit loading course, one version paired with hyperbaric oxygen, at two clinics including Six Senses.

Third Space gives drips inside a sports medicine practice, next to physiotherapy and osteopathy, and you do not need to be a member.

IV Boost UK has the broadest menu we found, with 23 infusions, on Wimpole Street in Marylebone.

When another clinic is the right choice

Every other clinic in this table charges less than The Wellness for a basic drip. Get A Drip charges about £120 for a hydration drip and Third Space £130, about a third of our £395. For NAD+, HUM2N charges £390 for 500 mg, against our £600 for the same dose. If you are well, you know which drip you want and you would like it close to work or home, Get A Drip's eleven sites or a home visit from Effect Doctors will suit you better.

Ask about IV therapy

Questions to ask any IV clinic

  • Who reviews my medical history and medicines before the drip, and are they a doctor?
  • What exactly is in the drip, and at what dose?
  • Who places the line, and who is on site if I feel unwell during the infusion?
  • Do I need a blood test first for what I want to treat?
  • What does the price include, and is the consultation charged separately?

How to read an IV price

Compare the dose as well as the name. A drip sold as NAD+ can hold 250 mg or 500 mg, and Third Space charges £460 and £750 for the two.

Check whether the consultation is included. At The Wellness the health screening with your first drip is included, and the iron infusion price from £950 includes the consultation and the follow-up check.

Ask for the total price of a course before you start, because most menus price one visit at a time.

What the evidence says

Evidence that vitamin drips help is limited. In a placebo-controlled pilot trial of the Myers’ Cocktail in people with fibromyalgia, both groups improved, and the difference between the drip and the placebo was not statistically significant. Ali and colleagues, Intravenous micronutrient therapy (Myers’ Cocktail) for fibromyalgia, a placebo-controlled pilot study, Journal of Alternative and Complementary Medicine, 2009

Intravenous iron has a clear place. The British Society of Gastroenterology recommends considering it when iron tablets are unsuitable, have not worked or are not tolerated. Snook and colleagues, British Society of Gastroenterology guidelines for the management of iron deficiency anaemia in adults, Gut, 2021

Low iron has a cause that needs finding. The same guideline reports that about a third of men and postmenopausal women with iron deficiency anaemia have an underlying condition, most often in the gut. Snook and colleagues, British Society of Gastroenterology guidelines for the management of iron deficiency anaemia in adults, Gut, 2021

Warning signs at any clinic

  • Nobody asks about your medical history or your medicines before the drip.
  • The menu names the drip but not what is in it or the dose.
  • The clinic claims a drip cures an illness or protects you from infection.
  • An iron infusion is offered without a recent blood test.
  • Nobody clinically qualified stays on site while the infusion runs.

How IV therapy at The Wellness works

IV therapy at The Wellness is given inside a private GP clinic. Your medical history and medicines are reviewed before your first drip, a GMC registered doctor oversees every infusion and a trained nurse places the line. If tiredness is the reason you are booking, a doctor can arrange a blood test first, and the result decides whether a drip, iron or another treatment is right for you. Iron IV is given only after a blood test review, by a doctor who stays for the whole infusion, and your levels are checked again afterwards.

What you get at The Wellness

  • Your medical history and medicines are reviewed before your first drip.
  • A GMC registered doctor oversees every infusion, and a trained nurse places the line.
  • Each drip lists its ingredients, and NAD+ Therapy states its dose of 500 mg.
  • Drips take 45 to 90 minutes, in a treatment room in Marylebone.
  • Iron IV follows a review of your blood results, is given by a doctor who stays throughout, and includes the follow-up check of your levels.
  • Same day appointments are often available.

What else people ask

At the six clinics on this page, a hydration drip costs from about £120 at Get A Drip to £395 at The Wellness. A Myers’ Cocktail costs from about £180 to £495. Where the clinic states the dose, 500 mg of NAD+ costs from £390 to £750. We read each price on the provider's own website on 12 October 2026.

At The Wellness your medical history and medicines are reviewed before your first drip, and a GMC registered doctor oversees every infusion. Get A Drip also requires a medical consultation before any drip. IV fluids are not suitable for everyone, including some people with kidney disease or a heart condition, which is why the history comes first.

HUM2N charges £290 for 250 mg and £390 for 500 mg. Third Space charges £460 and £750 for the same doses, and Effect Doctors starts at £350. At The Wellness, NAD+ Therapy is £600 for 500 mg with B vitamins and magnesium, and takes 60 to 90 minutes.

At The Wellness an iron infusion costs from £950, with the consultation and the follow-up check included. It follows a review of your blood results, and a doctor prescribes and gives the infusion and stays for the whole of it. None of the other clinics on this page publishes an iron infusion price.

Most drips at The Wellness take 45 to 60 minutes. NAD+ Therapy and Apex Performance take 60 to 90 minutes, because they run more slowly.
