Arabic speaking doctors and team
Omani families ask for Dr Adel Elalfy, who consults in Arabic. Women may ask for a woman doctor such as Dr Heidi Hamer, and a husband, parent or companion can be seen in the same appointment.

A Omani family takes the written report home the same day, in English, and with their consent we send it to their doctor or insurer in Oman.

How it works with a letter of guarantee

What the embassy sends us
The letter of guarantee, the Omani patient’s name and date of birth as the passport gives them, a telephone number, and where they are staying in London.

Our GPs refer Omani patients to consultants on the GMC Specialist Register, through One Heart Clinic and through Guy’s and St Thomas’ Specialist Care at the Royal Brompton Diagnostic Centre.

Where can an Omani family see a private doctor in London?
At our Belgravia clinic on Eccleston Street, the nearer of our two to South Kensington, at our Baker Street clinic, or at home or the hotel, and usually on the day they ask.
How does an Omani family pay?
At the visit, by card. The fee is confirmed before the appointment, and the family receives an itemised invoice and a medical report for any insurer or sponsor at home.
Can the report be shared with a doctor in Muscat?
Yes, with the patient’s consent. The report is written in English as soon as the consultation ends, and we send it wherever the patient asks.
Can grandparents and children be seen at one visit?
Yes. A doctor can see several members of a family in one visit to the home or hotel, children from three months old with a parent present.
Do you need a letter from the embassy?
No. A family can request an appointment directly. If a sponsor does send a letter of guarantee, we invoice against it.
