Looking for a private GP near you? You can see a doctor by phone or video from anywhere in the UK, or in person at our Marylebone clinic in central London. A private GP in London gives you a doctor, a plan and the paperwork you need, usually without the wait. The Online GP by The Wellness offers phone appointments from £59, video from £150 and in-person appointments at £220, with GMC-registered doctors and a home-visit service across London.

Need to see a doctor soon? Message us on WhatsApp, email the team or call 020 3951 3429.

Where to find us

Our clinic is at Unit 4, 10 Portman Square, London W1H 6AZ. If you are not in London, a phone or video appointment gives you the same doctor-led care, with prescriptions sent to a pharmacy near you where clinically appropriate.

Who a private GP suits

• Busy professionals who cannot take a morning off for a surgery appointment

• Parents who want a doctor to look at a child or a family concern the same week

• People travelling or new to London who are not registered with a local GP

• Anyone who wants a longer conversation about a worry, rather than a rushed one

• People who want a second opinion, a referral, or a doctor to coordinate their tests

What to expect at your appointment

You will be asked about your symptoms, history, medicines and allergies. Your doctor will explain what they think is going on, what they would do next, and what you can do yourself. If you need tests, a prescription or a referral to a specialist, they arrange it in the same appointment where they can.

Checklist: what to have ready

☐ A list of your symptoms and when they started

☐ Your current medicines and doses

☐ Any recent test results or letters

☐ Questions you want answered

☐ Your NHS GP details, if you would like us to share a summary with your consent

Not sure which appointment to choose? Ask us first. Message us on WhatsApp, email the team or call 020 3951 3429.

Private GP or NHS GP?

NHS GP care is free and handles most health problems well. You can register with a practice at no cost, and you can find one at nhs.uk/nhs-services/gps. A private GP is an addition, not a replacement. People tend to choose private care for speed, appointment length and convenience. For urgent problems that are not an emergency, call NHS 111.

Red flags: do not wait for an appointment

Call 999 or go to A&E for chest pain, difficulty breathing, signs of a stroke (face drooping, arm weakness, slurred speech), heavy bleeding or sudden severe headache.
