The Process:

2. Assessment - Doctor evaluates if prescription appropriate

3. Prescription - Issued if clinically justified

4. Collection - Pick up from pharmacy same day

Electronic Prescriptions:

We send directly to your chosen pharmacy. You just collect.

Paper Prescriptions:

Posted first-class if preferred, or collect from our clinic.

What's the Difference: NHS vs Private Prescription

NHS Prescription:

• Fixed charge: £9.90 per item (or free if exempt)

• Requires NHS GP appointment (often weeks wait)

• Limited to NHS formulary

• Can only use NHS pharmacies

Private Prescription:

• Pay full medication cost (varies by drug)
