Health benefits for fintech and banking teams
Banking and fintech teams need care that fits a demanding workload and a team spread between offices, homes and cities, with a doctor reachable the same day and mental health care people can use directly. One membership for the whole company, its leaders and their families gives that care in every financial centre the company works in.
- What it costs
- Team membership from £9,500 per person a year, leaders from £28,500, each with a quote.
- How soon
- Leaders can start in one morning, the whole company within 10 days.

What banking and fintech teams need from health care
People in finance need care they can reach around a full working day, from someone who already knows them. In Great Britain, workload is the main cause people give for work-related stress, depression or anxiety, and professional occupations report it at a rate of 2,730 cases per 100,000 workers, above the 2,040 average for all occupations [1].
Mental health is the largest part of that picture worldwide. The World Health Organization estimates that 16% of working-age adults had a mental disorder in 2023, and that 12 billion working days are lost every year to depression and anxiety [2]. Confidential care that is quick to reach is the part of a benefit people come back to.
Long days carry a physical cost as well. Working 55 hours or more a week, compared with 35 to 40 hours, is linked to a 35% higher risk of stroke and a 17% higher risk of dying from ischaemic heart disease [3].
Why managers carry the most change
Banks reorganise and fintechs scale, and managers absorb both. A global workplace survey found that manager engagement fell by five points between 2024 and 2025, from 27% to 22%, the largest year-on-year drop the survey recorded [4].
A manager who can arrange care for themselves in minutes, and who knows their team can do the same, spends less of the week on problems a doctor could have solved. Giving leaders the same membership as their teams makes it easy for them to recommend it.
Teams that work between home and other cities
Finance and technology teams rarely sit in one building all week. Official statistics for Great Britain show that businesses in the information and communication industry had the highest share of hybrid working, at 49%, and that 45% of managers, directors and senior officials worked a hybrid pattern [5].
A benefit tied to one office or one country leaves out the people who are elsewhere. Care that is arranged by a concierge in any of our 13 cities, and by video wherever a person is, reaches the whole team on the days they work from home and the days they travel.
Fintech founders and the people around them
Founders carry a particular load. In a study of 242 entrepreneurs, mental health differences directly or indirectly affected 72% of them, and 30% reported depression [6]. The sample was small and the answers were self-reported, though the pattern is consistent with what founders describe.
Founders need a doctor who sees the whole person, with their family covered by the same arrangement, so that an evening with a sick child or a sleepless week gets the same attention as a board meeting.
Care in the financial centres where your teams work
Banks and fintechs gather in the financial centres, and our 13 cities include most of them, from London and New York to Singapore, Hong Kong, Dubai and Sydney. Fintech teams that build their product in San Francisco and sell it through London keep the same concierge and the same record in both.
For a company with people in several of these cities, one membership replaces a different plan in each country. The finance team holds one contract and one renewal date, and the people team answers one set of questions.
Banks and fintechs move people between hubs, often at short notice. A person who relocates from London to Singapore keeps the same concierge and the same record, and their first appointment in the new city can be arranged before they arrive.
Families who move with them are covered by the same membership from the first day, and the family settles into the new city with care already in place.
A checklist for a bank or fintech choosing health benefits
Ask these questions of any partner you consider, ourselves included.
- Can a person speak to a doctor the same day, whether they are at home or in another city?
- Can people reach a psychiatrist or psychologist directly, without going through their manager?
- Are leaders and their teams covered by the same membership?
- Does care follow people who move between offices or relocate?
- Does the company see anonymised reporting only, with small groups left out, under a data processing agreement?
- Is there one invoice and one renewal date for every country?
What The Wellness for teams gives a bank or fintech
The Wellness for teams is one membership for the whole company, with leaders and their families included, and it holds inpatient and outpatient care, dental care, diagnostics and health programmes in 13 cities. A concierge arranges everything, and the company receives one invoice, renewed once a year. Outside the United States it takes the place of national plans at renewal, and in the United States it is the global layer above the medical plan.
The company sees anonymised reporting only, with small groups left out, under a data processing agreement. Leaders can start in one morning and the whole company within 10 days. Nobody is refused care, and care beyond the plan is billed at the published fee. Our doctors are registered with the General Medical Council, and care is delivered through registered partner clinics and accredited laboratories.
