Questions about corporate health and the membership
How is this different from other employee health benefits?
It is a single membership that holds outpatient, inpatient and dental care, diagnostics and health programmes in 13 cities, with a concierge who arranges all of it and one invoice for the company.
We already have a provider. When would we move?
At your renewal date. The membership takes the place of each plan as it comes up for renewal, so the change happens on your timetable.
Is The Wellness for teams insurance?
No. It is a health membership. Its inpatient, outpatient and dental cover is insured, arranged through a licensed insurer, and we provide the doctors, the concierge and the reporting around it.
Does it replace private medical insurance?
Yes, outside the United States, because the membership includes insured inpatient care. In the United States it sits above your medical plan as the global layer.
Is there a virtual GP as well as doctors in person?
Yes, and they are the same doctors. Members speak to a doctor by video or telephone the same day and see a doctor in person in their own city whenever they need to.
Does it work where our people are?
Care is arranged in London, Dubai, New York, Beverly Hills, Miami, San Francisco, Singapore, Hong Kong, Paris, Monaco, Milan, Tokyo and Sydney. Tell us where your team is and we will design the membership around it.
What does corporate health cover cost per employee per month?
We price per person a year, from the figures shown for each membership. Your quote is built around where your people are, and the per month figure is that annual price divided by twelve.
What happens if someone needs a lot of care?
They are seen. Care beyond the plan is billed to the company at the published fee, itemised, and the contract is reviewed together every year.
What is the return on a corporate health programme?
We agree the measures with you before anyone joins and report them every quarter, with the method beside each number, so your finance team can check every figure.
Will my employer see my results?
No. Your results belong to you. The company sees anonymised reporting only, with small groups left out, under a data processing agreement signed before anyone joins.
What happens to our employee assistance programme?
The membership holds the medical side of mental health, with doctors and psychiatrists whenever they are needed. Many companies keep their counselling service until its renewal and decide then.
How long does it take to set up?
Leaders can start in one morning, and the whole firm can be live within 10 days, timed to your renewal date.
What does an executive health assessment include?
The executive physical is a full day with one physician, with advanced bloodwork, an ECG, body composition and a written plan, at £2,995 in London. Longer programmes add a full body MRI, DEXA, VO2max and cardiac imaging.
