At The Wellness £495 covers more than 900,000 methylation markers, a pace of ageing, 11 organ ages, your report and a call with a doctor to go through it, with results 2 to 3 weeks after the laboratory receives the sample. Home tests elsewhere cost from £250 to £379, and a London clinic includes biological age testing in assessments from £7,900. Any one result is an estimate, so a trend across repeat tests tells you more. We read each price on the provider's own website on 23 October 2026.
| Provider | Test | Published price | What the price includes | Where |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| The Wellness | Epigenetic age test, postal kit or self collect in London | £495 | More than 900,000 DNA methylation markers read by an accredited laboratory, with a biological age, a pace of ageing (DunedinPACE), 11 organ ages, telomere length and immune cell composition, and a call with a doctor to go through the results. Results 2 to 3 weeks after the laboratory receives the sample. | Kit by post, or self collect at the Marylebone clinic on Saturday afternoons |
| Lola Health | TruAge by TruDiagnostic | £375, or £600 with TruHealth | More than 900,000 methylation markers from a finger prick, read in TruDiagnostic’s US laboratory, with OMICmAge, DunedinPACE and eleven body system ages. Results take 3 to 4 weeks, and Lola says the report does not include a doctor review. | Finger prick kit by post |
| GlycanAge | GlycanAge test | £379, or £682 for two tests | Estimates biological age from glycans, the sugar molecules attached to antibodies, which GlycanAge links to chronic inflammation, rather than from DNA methylation. | Home kit by post |
| Muhdo | Epigenetic kit with an app based health coach | £250 | A saliva sample read for biological age, inflammation, stress and immunity, with coaching in the app updated after each retest. | Saliva kit by post |
| HOOKE | Biological age testing within a health assessment | Within Investigation+ from £13,500, or an add on to Investigation from £7,900 | Biological age testing is one of the specialist tests you can choose inside a one day assessment with doctors, imaging, fitness and cognitive testing. HOOKE does not publish a price for the test alone. | 86 Brook Street, Mayfair |

£495 covers the kit, laboratory analysis of more than 900,000 methylation markers, a call with a doctor to go through the results, and your report, which gives a biological age, a pace of ageing called DunedinPACE, 11 organ ages, telomere length and immune cell composition. You can take the finger prick at home or at our Marylebone clinic on a Saturday afternoon, and results arrive 2 to 3 weeks after the laboratory receives the sample. For a doctor to read it beside your blood results, add an introductory longevity consultation by video.
At The Wellness a doctor reads every result with you and says what it means for your care, and what, if anything, to test next.
Results that nobody acts on are a known failure in outpatient care. A systematic review of 19 studies found that between 6.8% and 62% of laboratory results were not followed up, and missed results were linked to delayed diagnoses. Callen and colleagues, Failure to follow-up test results for ambulatory patients, a systematic review, Journal of General Internal Medicine, 2012

Message us with what you want to track, and a clinician will tell you whether an epigenetic test, a blood test or both would answer it. Messages are usually answered within minutes.
Ask a clinicianCheck whether a doctor review is included, because several reports come without one.
Plan for a repeat test in 6 to 12 months, because a trend tells you more than one number.
DunedinPACE was trained on the decline of 19 measures of organ function over two decades in one birth cohort, and showed high test retest reliability and links with illness, disability and death. Belsky and colleagues, DunedinPACE, a DNA methylation biomarker of the pace of aging, eLife, 2022
Technical noise alone produced differences of up to 9 years between repeat measurements for six widely used clocks, and newer computational methods brought most repeats within 1.5 years. Researchers note there are no agreed standards yet for validating ageing biomarkers before they are used to guide care. Moqri and colleagues, Biomarkers of aging for the identification and evaluation of longevity interventions, Cell, 2023
At the providers on this page a home biological age test costs from £250 at Muhdo to £379 at GlycanAge, and HOOKE includes testing in assessments from £7,900. At The Wellness the epigenetic age test is £495, with results in 2 to 3 weeks and a call with a doctor to go through them. We read each price on the provider's own website on 23 October 2026.
They are informative across groups and less precise for one person. Technical noise alone produced differences of up to 9 years between repeat measurements in six widely used clocks, and newer methods brought most repeats within 1.5 years.
No. Some clocks predict illness and death across large groups, and that does not make them a reliable forecast for one person. Read a result as one input beside measures with firmer evidence, such as blood pressure, cholesterol, blood sugar and fitness.
