Aesthetic skin treatments in London

Every aesthetic plan here starts with a consultation with a doctor, who looks at your skin, goes through your goals and history, and discusses all treatment options with you. The consultation is £150. Below are the skin treatments you can book, each with its price and the page that explains it.

What it is

Aesthetic treatment here is aimed at the quality of the skin: texture, tone, hydration, fine lines, under-eye hollowness, redness, pigmentation and scarring. The treatments use platelets concentrated from your own blood (PRP and PRF), growth factors worked into the skin during microneedling, an injectable hyaluronic acid skin booster, or laser.

The aim of a PRP facial is better texture and tone through growth factor stimulation, not a changed face.

Who it is for

Adults who want to improve the texture and tone of their skin, under-eye hollowness and dark circles, fine lines, redness, pigmentation or scarring.

Some people are not suitable. Pregnancy, breastfeeding, active skin infection, certain autoimmune or bleeding disorders, and being under 18 may rule a treatment out. The doctor checks this with you at the consultation.

What happens

You start with an in-person consultation with a doctor. The doctor looks at your skin, goes through your goals and history, and discusses all treatment options with you, including those only a doctor can prescribe. You leave with a plan and a recommendation, and nothing is decided before you have met.

If you book a PRP or PRF treatment online instead, a doctor calls you first to check it suits you before the session is confirmed.

For PRP and PRF, a small blood sample is drawn, like a routine blood test. It is spun for 10 to 15 minutes to concentrate the platelets, then applied during microneedling or injected with fine needles. Numbing cream is used for comfort.

Most courses are two to four sessions about a month apart. A laser plan is written by the doctor after an examination, with dates and a price.

Prices are the booking catalogue’s, the same figures checkout charges. Where a row shows no figure, the catalogue does not list it and its own page explains how it is arranged.

What it cannot do

  • All aesthetic procedures carry risks: temporary bruising, swelling and redness, asymmetry that needs adjusting, and, rarely, allergic reaction, infection or vascular complications. The doctor goes through them with you before anything is booked.
  • Treatments that only a doctor can prescribe are not priced or sold on this page. A doctor discusses them with you at the aesthetic consultation, alongside every other option.
  • Dermal fillers, polynucleotides, PDO thread lifts and chemical peels are not booked here. Where one suits you, it is arranged after the consultation by referral to a partner clinician registered with the JCCP, Save Face or BCAM, at a venue that holds a Special Treatment Licence.
  • A laser programme is priced in the written plan after the doctor has examined you. The consultation fee comes off any programme in full.

When to see a doctor

  • A mole changing in size, shape or colour over weeks or months
  • A spot that bleeds, itches or crusts and does not settle in 4 weeks
  • A sore that has not healed in 4 weeks
  • Deep painful lumps and cysts that are leaving marks
  • Swelling, redness or pain that is getting worse after a treatment. Contact the clinician who treated you the same day

These need a doctor, not a cosmetic appointment. Book a GP or dermatology appointment. If you are severely unwell, go to your nearest emergency department or call 999.
