One liaison. The right specialist, booked. £295 a case, included in membership.

Call the clinic

Navigation is a liaison who takes a health problem off your desk. They find the right specialist, book the first appointment, within 48 hours when it is urgent, arrange the tests and imaging, and bring the letter back into your record. £295 a case, included in membership.

What you get

  • A first appointment, offered fastWithin 48 hours when it is urgent, within 5 working days when it is routine.
  • The right specialist, not the nearestChosen for the problem, the evidence and how they are with patients. You hear why before you agree.
  • Tests and imaging arrangedBloods and scans booked so the results are in the room at the first appointment, not after it.
  • The letter back into your recordEvery clinic letter and result comes back to your record here, read by your doctor.
  • One number to callYour liaison, by phone or WhatsApp, until the case is closed.

Your liaison

One member of the clinic team takes your case from the first call to the letter. You are given their name and their number when the case opens, and they are the person you deal with until it closes.

They work with your doctor here, so what the specialist finds is read back to you by someone who knows your history, and the next step is booked in the same conversation.

How it works

Step 1

Tell us the problem

A referral letter, a diagnosis or just what is going on. Your liaison calls you back the same working day.

Step 2

We find and book

The specialist, the tests and the imaging, in the order that gets you an answer soonest. You approve every booking.

Step 3

The letter comes back

The clinic letter lands in your record, your doctor reads it with you, and the next step is booked if there is one.

What we cannot promise

  • A named consultant on a named dayA consultant’s diary is theirs. We will get you the first appointment their clinic offers and say when that is.
  • A specialist who declinesSome do, because the problem is outside their practice or their list is closed. You hear within the day and we offer the next best name.
  • The cost of the specialistThe £295 pays for the navigation. The consultant, the tests and the scans are billed by the people who do them, and we tell you the fee before you agree.
  • An emergencyNavigation is not an emergency service. Chest pain, a stroke, a serious injury, call 999.

Good to know

£295 a case, and it is included in membership. The fee pays for your liaison, the finding, the booking, the chasing and the letter back into your record. The consultant, the tests and the scans are billed by the people who do them, and you hear each fee before you agree to it.

When it is urgent, a first appointment is offered within 48 hours. When it is routine, within five working days. Offered means a real date with a real clinic that you can accept or decline, not a place in a queue.

We can ask, and we often can. What we cannot promise is a named consultant on a named day, because their diary is theirs and not ours. If the person you want cannot see you in the window, you hear that within the day along with the next best name and why we would trust them.

Some do, because the problem is outside their practice or their list is closed. You are told the same day and offered another specialist. The clock on our promise restarts from that offer, and you are never left holding the phone.

A member of the clinic team who takes your case from the first call to the letter. You are given their name and number when the case opens, and they are the one person you deal with throughout.

Not to start. If you have one, send it and we work from it. If you do not, one of our GPs will see you first, usually the same or next day, and write the referral the specialist needs. That appointment is charged at the usual GP fee.

Yes. Every clinic letter, scan report and result comes back to your record here and is read by your doctor, who explains it to you. That is the point of navigation over a referral. The information does not scatter.

The navigation fee itself is not usually covered. The consultant and the tests often are, with a GP referral, and we make sure the referral is written in the form your insurer needs. You will receive an itemised receipt for everything.
