Gulf medical offices can now refer patients to us

What a medical office can now do
From 16 October 2026, a Gulf medical office in London can refer a citizen to The Wellness from a page of its own, with a referral form built for the office [1]. There are 6 of these pages, for the medical offices and, where a country has none in London, its embassy.
The citizen is seen the same day by a doctor who speaks Arabic, in Marylebone, in Belgravia or at their hotel or home, and the office receives a report after each consultation [1]. Insurers, assistance companies and London hotels can now refer in the same way, each from a page of its own [2] [3].
How it works for a medical office
The medical offices of the Gulf states in London arrange care for citizens who come here for treatment. The office sends the referral from its page, and our team arranges a same day appointment in Marylebone or Belgravia, or a doctor at the hotel or home, with a doctor who speaks Arabic [1].
After each consultation the office receives a report, and each page explains how a letter of guarantee is handled. Where a country has no medical office in London, its embassy page is written for families instead [1].
For insurers and assistance companies
The 23 pages for insurers and assistance companies, 6 of them assistance companies, are written for case managers and for the members they look after [2]. Each states plainly whether that insurer recognises The Wellness, and where it does not, how we can ask it for a guarantee of payment with the member's agreement.
Whether a visit is covered always depends on the member's own policy, and every page says so. Our fee schedule for insured and sponsored care is available to provider teams on request [2].
For hotels in London
The 29 hotel pages are for guests and for the concierge desk [3]. A doctor can be with a guest in the room the same day, and the guest agrees the fee before anyone is sent. The visit is £495 by day and £595 in the evening, and prescriptions can be sent to the hotel [4].
The desk is told only that the guest has been seen, and nothing clinical. We pay no commissions and ask for none, so no fee passes between The Wellness and a hotel or its staff for a referral [4].
What happens when a partner refers someone
Each referral form asks for what the team needs to arrange care, and nothing more.
- The person referring tells us who needs care, where they are and how soon
- Our team replies within 24 hours, and the same day for a guest who is unwell
- The fee is agreed with the patient, or with the office or insurer paying, before anything is arranged
- After the consultation, the office or case manager receives what the patient has agreed they may see
Independent organisations
Every organisation with a page is independent of The Wellness. Each page says so, and names a relationship only where one exists, so a reader always knows whether a hotel, an insurer or an office has an agreement with us [2] [3].
Why we built these pages
The people who arrange care for others, an attaché at a medical office, a case manager at an insurer or a concierge on a hotel desk, often need a doctor at short notice and have to decide quickly whom to trust. They need to know what will happen, what it costs and who pays, before they pick up the phone.
Each page answers those questions for that organisation in particular, so the person arranging care can act on it straight away and the person being cared for knows what to expect.
How to begin
A medical office, a case manager or a concierge opens the page for their organisation and uses its referral form. We reply within 24 hours, and for a guest who is unwell a doctor can usually be there the same day [1] [3].
A guest or a patient who would rather arrange care directly can request a doctor to the hotel or home from our home visit page, where the fee is shown before anything is confirmed [5]. A doctor visits anywhere in London, and you do not need to be registered with a doctor in this country to be seen.
