With Invisalign, you wear a series of clear aligners, and each set moves your teeth a small amount. Before your first aligner is made, your dentist plans every stage of treatment from a digital scan of your teeth.
The Wellness works with dental specialists in London who carry out your treatment. Our team books your appointments and coordinates your care.
Your dentist scans your teeth
Your dentist takes a digital scan of your upper and lower teeth and uses it to plan how they will move. The scan also shows whether you need Lite or Full, and sets your exact fee.
You wear your aligners
You wear each set of aligners as your dentist advises, with review appointments during treatment. Lite usually takes 4 to 6 months, and Full usually takes 12 to 18 months.
You wear retainers
When your teeth have moved, you wear retainers to keep them in their new position. Your retainers and whitening are included in the fee.
Your teeth stay in their new position for as long as you wear your retainers as your dentist advises. This is why retainers are included in both fees.
At your assessment, your dentist tells you whether aligners are suitable for your teeth, and whether you need Lite or Full. If you need Full, you see that fee before anything is booked.
At each review, your dentist checks that your teeth are moving as planned. Invisalign Full includes as many aligners as you need, so extra aligners do not add to the fee.
Your dentist can plan straightening together with other treatment. Whitening is already included. Once your teeth are in position, you can also have composite bonding, from £850 per tooth.
Yes, whitening is included with both Invisalign Lite and Invisalign Full. Both fees also include your retainers and every review appointment.
Invisalign Lite is for smaller changes to the position of your teeth. It usually takes 4 to 6 months and costs from £4,150. Invisalign Full straightens all of your teeth, with as many aligners as you need. It usually takes 12 to 18 months and costs from £6,500.
If your teeth need to move further than Lite allows, your dentist recommends Invisalign Full instead. The scan at your assessment shows this, and your dentist gives you the fee for Invisalign Full before anything starts.
