Whether a visit is covered depends on your policy. With your agreement we can ask Bupa Global for a guarantee of payment before you are seen. Where direct settlement is not in place, you pay at the visit and we give you an itemised invoice and medical report for your claim.
Bupa Global’s pre-authorisation is valid for 31 days, which covers a GP visit, the tests that follow and a return appointment in one window.

No. We have written to Bupa Global and nothing is agreed. Until it is, you pay at the visit and claim with our itemised invoice and report.
Can a Bupa Global member see a doctor in London today?
The Bupa Global member usually hears from a doctor within the day, and is then seen at the hotel, at home or at one of our two London clinics.
Does the Bupa Global claims team get the report?
It goes to Bupa Global once the member agrees, the same hour the doctor finishes, with the diagnosis, the treatment and what happens next.
Can you treat a Bupa Global member at their hotel rather than send them to hospital?
Often. A doctor treats the Bupa Global member where they are staying, and only refers on to a hospital when the examination calls for it.
