What has changed

From 18 October 2026, a person who requests a blood panel from The Wellness has three places to give the sample. The first is our own clinic at 10 Portman Square, where the draw is included in every panel [1]. The second is a walk-in at The Doctors Laboratory, known as TDL, at 76 Wimpole Street in Marylebone, for £45 more [1].

The third is at home. A GMC registered doctor can take blood at your home, hotel or office anywhere in London as part of a home visit [2] [3].

At our clinic on Portman Square

Most people give blood at our main clinic, on Portman Square in Marylebone. It is open every day from seven in the morning until nine at night, so a sample can be taken before work or on the way home [4].

The draw is included in the price of every panel, and the sample goes to an accredited laboratory with the result returned to your own doctor [1]. A doctor reads every result before it reaches you [5].

As a walk-in at TDL, 76 Wimpole Street

The Doctors Laboratory runs a walk-in centre at 76 Wimpole Street in Marylebone, close to the consulting rooms of Harley Street and Wimpole Street. A sample taken there costs £45 on top of the panel, and the request page offers it on weekday mornings [1].

This suits people who work nearby or who are already in Marylebone for another appointment. The result still comes back to your doctor at The Wellness, who reads it and writes to you with what it means and what to do next.

At your home, hotel or office

A doctor can come to you anywhere in London and take blood during the visit [3]. A home visit is from £450, with up to an hour with the doctor, and members pay £400 a visit [2].

A home visit makes sense when you would also like to be examined, or when travelling to a clinic is hard. The doctor takes the sample, examines you if you need it, and the result comes back to the same doctor.

Choosing where to give blood

Each place suits a different day, and the result comes back to the same doctor whichever you choose.

  • Our clinic on Portman Square, for anyone who wants the draw included and a time on any day of the week [4]
  • TDL on Wimpole Street, for a weekday morning walk-in close to the consulting rooms of Marylebone [1]
  • Your home, hotel or office, when you would also like to see a doctor or would rather not travel [2]

After the sample is taken

Wherever the sample is taken, it is analysed by an accredited laboratory and the result comes back to your doctor at The Wellness. The doctor reads it before it reaches you, then rings or writes with what it means and what to do next [5].

Your results are kept in one record, so a panel taken at TDL this year can be read beside a panel taken at our clinic last year. If anything needs a second look, the doctor can arrange it from the same record.

What it costs

The panels are priced as before. Core Wellness is £350, Advanced Health £650 and Longevity+ £1,395, each with the draw at our clinic included [6]. The walk-in at TDL adds £45 [1], and a doctor at home is from £450, or £400 for members [2].

How to begin

Request the panel you want and choose a time. The request page asks where the sample will be taken and offers our clinic or TDL, Wimpole Street, and it shows the price before you confirm.

For blood at home, request a home visit and say in the note that you would like a blood test. The team confirms the visit and the fee with you before the doctor is sent [2]. If you are not sure which panel you need, a doctor can help you choose before the sample is taken.
